Yesterday I walked down our street to White Bridge which goes over the Little River. I was with a wonderful neighbor. She walked down to my house with her special dog Misty. We walked at least 6 feet apart. She and Misty on the right side, and me on the left side. People looked at us funny. It was clear that we were walking together, but, only we knew we were only being safe. She and I both have husbands over 70. We must do everything possible to protect our senior citizens.
We talked, laughed, and enjoyed each other's company. As she dropped me off at my driveway. I called to her "Lee, remember my good news....my deck benches are six feet apart and as the flower come out soon...I would love to have a tea party with you."
